Uma-no-se spot
In Hamada, Rifu Town, which forms part of Matsushima Bay, there is a calm inlet and a natural pier called "Umanose" that stretches out into the sea. Uma-no-se is about 250 meters long, and it is a scenic spot where you can walk to the tip of the pier on a promenade.

Kyohei Fujita Glass Museum
A museum of the sea, glass, and gardens. Located next to Matsushima Ichinobo, it is the art museum with the best view in Matsushima. You can enjoy the magnificent view of Matsushima from the terrace, as well as the many works of glass artist Kyohei Fujita.
